I'm excited for the pace of the game to start to Rise in the coming rounds, because my desire to log onto aim has Fallen as of late. I wish I was having better conversations with my cast mates, but I'm finding it hard to not log off and do something else. Is the problem me or them?
Because of this I'm thrilled Jen won HoH. She kept true to our alliance and strategically things seem to be going alright for me. Jen was the perfect person to win because she had an excuse to put up Marvin and I want him to burn his power.
Well this confessional would have been a lot more poignant and make more sense if I posted it before the results, but I found out the results today when I was out on my phone so there was no time to record this.
When Marvin and Will were solidified as the final nominees, I assumed Will was totally doomed. Marvin would burn off his power and the group would vote off the player who is not very social. However, it seems like other people identified Marvin as more than an offensive jokester. Cody was very interested in booting Marvin. So in the alliance chat of me/Cody/Jen/Porsche Cody laid out the case for why Marvin would go. Of course I was in lockstep with all of the points he presented, but it seemed like Porsche was not going to be on board. Our alliance could decide the vote, and we were split. If I went with Porsche I'd upset Cody, and making the other choice would do the opposite.
Cody was convinced that Louise and Sarah were voting for Marvin, so I went to talk to David. I was expecting David to be pro-Marvin, but he totally wanted him gone!
It turned out that the vote was 2-2 with Porsche and Austin being the only people in the house to want to keep Marvin around. The decision was then Jen's. Of course Jen is going to evict Marvin, he just nominated her! She was totally bashing him to me only days ago. Alas, she kept Marvin!
Technically I can't feel blindsided by Jen and Porsche because they didn't technically turn on our alliance, but doesn't it just feel shady as hell?
