Greetings friends, acquaintances, people I don't want to see get drug resistant gonorrhea, and Mark.


Believe it or not I actually typed out all the shit I wanted to say last night but I got distracted watching porn, forgot to post it and my computer restarted sometime in the middle of the night.

So yeah, my bad for making everyone wait.


Ok so first off, let me address the Final 2. You two ladies scratched, bit, and bled every 28 days to make it to this point in the game and for that I would just like to say..

Yeah i dunno, fuck it.

So I would like to say that my vote is still up the air believe it or not. 

Sarah, lets start off with you because I JUST FUCKIN FEEL LIKE IT. OK?

You were the HOH the got rid of me and for that I have quite a bit of respect for. Not that I'm like King Shit of Big Brother Mountain or anything but I think most of us have confidence in our own games and being the one to put the final nail in Marvin's coffin definitely gives you some points in my book. 

So on to the questions. 

1. Why do you hate black people? 

(JK... but seriously why?)

2. How exactly did it come to be that you decided to put Jen up against me when Mark used the veto on himself the round that I left? (just kind of want to see your thought process here) 

3. How to you think your social game compares to Porsche's? 

(Keep in mind I havent read anyone else's threads because they all suck so If i repeat any questions I apologize) 

On to Porsche 

We had an alliance, you had a secret POV, you did not use it on me, it was a good decision, no hard feelings. 

One of the things that did kind of rub me the wrong way was when you just kind of ignored the Amy alliance that we had all made. 

1. Was that because you were worried about Amy and I working together or was there some other reason that you decided to shit can her? 

2. Could you ever have potentially seen a scenario in this game where you would have been willing to stick your neck out for one of your allies at potentially your own peril or were you content to just play it safe the whole time? 

You said in your opening statement that you mostly focused on having a good social game going in because you didn't think you could win many challenges. so...

3. How many challenges did you actually throw versus how many did you actually just do bad in? 

BONUS QUESTION: I had heard that early in the game you were kind of spreading some Marvin discontent with the "ladies" in the game (I put ladies in quotes because we all know they have dicks) as far as how I was speaking to people. 

Right when I got voted out you said to me that you didn't have any hard feeling towards the shit I said because I was just playing a character. So my bonus question to you is.

What if it wasn't a character?

One of the things that did kind of rub me the wrong way was when you just kind of ignored the Amy alliance that we had all made.

Actually, it wasn't. I trusted you and I wasn't going to vote out our mutual allies just to get closer to you. I voted out Amy for a couple reasons.

• I didn't feel close to Amy. I talked with her for a couple minutes after the alliance was formed, and after that, we didn't speak about the alliance at all. I was connected to her because I got pulled into an alliance involving her, as opposed to considering her a close ally.
• Amy didn't have a social game. She had gotten busy, and nobody felt close to her. Austin wasn't involved in an alliance with her so he had no reason to vote to keep her. Even if we had you, me and David, that's only 3 votes, and Mark had said he was voting Amy out if it was a tie. We would have needed two more votes, and I really don't see where they would have come from.
• To even have a shot of keeping Amy, I would have needed to get my hands dirty and campaign. This would have looked very weird to everybody else, who thought I liked Sarah and would be wondering why I suddenly wanted to keep Amy.
• Sarah liked me and it didn't make sense to campaign heavily to get her out when she wanted to work with me. I think this was around the time where the Jen/Austin/Sarah "alliance" formed, and Sarah immediately told me about it, so I felt like she trusted me.
• David had already told Austin about the alliance with Amy, and this was a way to build more trust with Austin.

Overall, it was too much risk and too much work for too little reward.

2. Could you ever have potentially seen a scenario in this game where you would have been willing to stick your neck out for one of your allies at potentially your own peril or were you content to just play it safe the whole time?

Um, yes? In fact, that happened the very next round. You were put up on the block the very next week, and almost everybody wanted you out. The easy decision would have been to let you go. If I voted for you, you would have left, and I would only need to explain myself to Austin. But you're an ally I would stick my neck out for, so I took a risk and voted out Will.

At the final 6, Sarah put up David and Austin. I could have sat back, respected Sarah's HOH, and Austin would be out. Instead, I made a move. I pulled out my veto and took Austin off the block, and Louise went home. So I'm not sure where you're coming from saying I always played it safe, because that just isn't true.

Side Note: I strongly disagree with Sarah's claim that Louise leaving benefited her. As you know, me, Austin and David were working together, and Sarah was in the final 5 with a three player alliance that she wasn't a part of, AND she couldn't compete in HOH. If Cody doesn't win HOH or I'm 11 seconds faster in the veto, Sarah is suddenly in big trouble.

I threw everything up until the final 8. Or at the very least, didn't try that hard. Some of the competitions, like the Snap Vote or the Majority Rules, were hard to throw. I actually wanted to win the final 9 HOH, but when I saw the Get out of HOH card, I went for it. Every competition after that, I was trying to win, I just wasn't good.

I don't remember "spreading discontent". Your shtick did make me feel uncomfortable sometimes and I guess I might have voiced that to some of the girls but in the long run, it didn't really bother me.

If you weren't a character? Well, I would hope nothing would change. I liked you and I saw you as a good ally, even though I didn't tell you everything. So that's it, everything would be exactly the same. Nope. Nothing at all would change.

2. Jen volunteered to go on the block against you, believing there was no way you'd stay against her. This turned out to be the beginning of the end for her game! But it was helpful for me as I didn't have to piss anyone off by putting them up as a pawn.

3. When it comes down to actual allegiance and effectiveness, I believe mine and Porsche's social games were equal and opposite in a way. I had people like Cody who I had a reciprocally beneficial and dedicated relationship with, and she had the equivalent with Jen. I may not have spent as much time on AIM as Porsche did, but I still built the bonds I needed to benefit my game, advance me to the end and make the game enjoyable for myself (and hopefully others).

Porsche, I've noticed that all of your criticisms of my game have been contingent on big IFs. Saying IF Cody hadn't won HoH, IF I hadn't won veto etc. X would have happened isn't a good way to try and discredit me, IMO, because there's no denying that those things really happened and they were not luck based or accidents at all. I controlled the final few rounds through my social bonds and winning competitions and I believe I had a level of security and control throughout the whole of the game that you did not.

I'll bite, though. With regards to the specific situation you described in this thread -- how strong was your three person alliance really if both of the other people in it openly said they couldn't beat you, and therefore likely wouldn't have had loyalty to you until the end? My argument sitting here is that I was, in reality, always positioned well, and it was through the merit of my gameplay that that happened. You can bring up all the "ifs" that you like, but the "ifs" don't change what actually happened. The fact of the matter from my perspective is that there were numerous things throughout the course of the jury phase that flat out did not go your way. Because of my gameplan, that never really happened to me. You can say that Louise leaving MIGHT have been bad for me IF the F5 round had gone differently, but it didn't. Cody and I controlled it. There is no IF about that, just like there is no IF about the fact that you were significantly weakened by Jen's, Austin's, and even Louise's eviction (and David's too, if you believe he was really going to take you to the end). I'm working with fact here, not hypotheticals.

I want to stress that I don't think I played a perfect game at all, but I do think Porsche is heavily underrating what I did do. I was hoping to spend this finale explaining the merits of my game, not undermining my fellow finalist, but I have to defend myself. There are no IFs about the fact that I aligned with comp threats intentionally and backdoored the person who could have quite easily emerged as the biggest player of the season to turn the tide of the game in my favour. I picked my allies and I picked my battles and I chose them pretty damn well. Evidence provided by everyone here, including Porsche herself (who is namedropping potential endgame allies with no evidential support and describing situations that would have been beneficial for her/detrimental to me IF ONLY some event happened) clearly indicates (to me at least!) that I had far more control over my fate than Porsche had over hers, and no amount of hypotheticals or blaming "lucky dice rolls" will change that.

I won't have time to post a closing statement or anything so I guess let this serve as a makeshift one. To the jurors -- obviously no hard feelings, no matter who you choose to vote for. Make the decision that sits best with you. I implore you, though, please consider the things that have been said at this finale when you cast your vote, and look beyond the surface before you make your judgment on what the "best game" entails.

In conclusion, thank you all for a great season, regardless of what the result may turn out to be. It's been real. I hope to keep in touch with y'all once this is over. Cheers!

I'm going to address Sarah's points slash write my closing statement here. CONGRATULATIONS MARVIN, your thread has been turned into the Closing Statements Thread!

On the outside, Sarah is talking about how the jurors need to "ignore all the crazy hypotheticals" (and how she doesn't want to discredit my game), but she's been doing nothing about taking shots at the "fact" that I needed to "win out to make the end." Sarah, do you really not see the contradiction?

First of all, it's an embellishment to say I "needed" to win to get to the end. After I had evicted Cody, Sarah told me that if she had won she might have "wavered" from taking me to the end. Sarah was already in the final 2 at this point so she had no reason to lie. At the very least, if Sarah had won and voted me out, it would have been a long and emotional decision, not the "Porsche was going home if she didn't win" narrative you've been hearing. At the final 4, David wanted me around and he wanted Cody out, and Sarah herself said she wanted me in the final 3. I'm sure you could come up with a couple combinations of HOH/Veto winners at the final 4 where I would have left, but you know what? That's getting into those "crazy hypotheticals."

Newsflash: as Sarah herself said, competitions are part of the game, and I EARNED my spot in the end. Talking about what would have happened if I hadn't won competitions is no different than talking about what would have happened if Sarah or Cody hadn't won competitions. Austin and David both told me that they would take me to the end, and I would LIKE to think they were telling the truth, but can I 100% guarantee it? Nope. If I hadn't won the final 3 HOH, I might have been in danger, which, no shit? If you've never been nominated, get to the final 3 and people are scared to face you, and you WIN, that's a GOOD THING. 

There's one other point I want to talk about, and that is the social game. It is beyond doubt that I had a better social game. I've already talked about how much effort I put into my conversations, even with people who were on different sides. On the other hand, well, I didn't want to attack Sarah's game, but this is my last chance and Sarah's already come after me.

I'm going to be frank. There were some times where Sarah was one step away from being an inactive. Sarah talked about how it was better for her game if Will stayed over Marvin. But during the actual vote, while I was sticking my neck out and campaigning for Marvin, Sarah basically wasn't there. Sarah didn't say one word to me in the 3 days leading up to Will's eviction, and I know other people complained about her activity.

Sarah's social game was also very shaky. When Jen volunteered to go on the block, Sarah told Mark about it and Mark told everyone. This hurt Jen's game but it also hurt Sarah's. After that, Jen was done with Sarah and Sarah was in a position where she needed to get Jen out before Jen got her out. She succeeded, so good for her, but that doesn't change the fact that she turned Jen against her for no reason. It also tipped me off that there was something between Sarah and Mark a round before Sarah announced it to the entire house. At the final 5, Sarah considered backdooring me. I was able to convince her not to do it, but the point is, she TOLD me about it and then backed out. All that told me was that I couldn't count on Sarah's loyalty. This didn't end up affecting her, but it was a baffling decision.

Let's ignore the "hypotheticals" like Sarah wants and look at the facts. One of the people sitting here was mostly safe throughout the endgame, but took a jury threat (this isn't me patting myself on the back, Sarah for some reason told me she didn't think she could beat me) to the final 3. That's a very good way to get second place. Now let's look at my game. Sure, I might have been in danger starting at final 4, but that is not a point against me. To use a Survivor example, JT Thomas might have been in danger if he didn't win either of the last two immunity challenges in Tocantins. Does that take away from the game he played? No it doesn't.

I was a strong player and people knew I was a strong player, but I maintained good relationships. My allies were loyal to me and even the people who weren't directly on my side had other targets ahead of me. I was one of the smaller, if not THE smallest, targets on my side. Sometimes things didn't work out exactly the way I wanted, but I was never in any real danger until final 4. I wasn't afraid to make moves and I never got nominated. I definitely believe that I deserve to win this game, and I hope you guys feel the same way.
