Hey, Will! Welcome to BB: Rise & Fall 13! Please answer these questions when you get the chance. Thank you for applying and we hope you have a great time.
1. This is the [un]lucky 13th season. What twists do you expect to happen?
2. How does not being allowed to use AIM, as of now, affect you and your strategy? Why do you think only posting on the boards and PMing is allowed?
3. Have you communicated with anyone yet? Who has made good first impressions, either through the board or PMs? Who has made bad impressions?
4. Did you enter the game with a set strategy? If so, (how) has it changed now that the game has officially begun and you've probably met some of the cast?
5. What kind of player would you consider yourself? (The hero, the villain, the socialite, the competitor, well-rounded, etc...?)
6. What are your strengths and weaknesses as a player?
7. What are your pet peeves in people? Are there any kind of players that just really grind your gears? Would you target them automatically or try to work past these differences?
8. (Why) do you think you have what it takes to win Big Brother: Rise & Fall 13?
9. Anything else you'd like to add before your journey for the victory begins?
Keep an eye out for this thread, because Staff may periodically pop in to ask questions or converse with you. Thank you and we wish you the best of luck this season!
1. This is the [un]lucky 13th season. What twists do you expect to happen?
If I had realized it was season 13 (and that this fact was going to be pointed out so much, I doubt I'd have signed up. I'm totally the purple rock pulling type, the buy a bb vault where a Diamond veto exists and end up with a penalty where I have to vote in public. So I'm fairly convinced my demise will be something crazy. But as long as I make things fun enough for you people watching before my untimely demise, I will feel validated.
2. How does not being allowed to use AIM, as of now, affect you and your strategy? Why do you think only posting on the boards and PMing is allowed?
Doesn't at all. Talking with someone on the board who is actively responding is almost the same as AIM. Except this way, people are (hopefully) less likely to talk about previous handles and games they've been in. Hate that sh*t.
3. Have you communicated with anyone yet? Who has made good first impressions, either through the board or PMs? Who has made bad impressions?
Like of the 10 plus of us checked in, only Mark and I have posted more than once in the welcome thread. And I've already stopped myself twice from posting more, so these hookers need to step it up or I'm going to be bored. Mark and Greg have messaged me, they seem nice and I messaged Louise. Only because it's day one and I have barely seen personality out of anyone.
4. Did you enter the game with a set strategy? If so, (how) has it changed now that the game has officially begun and you've probably met some of the cast?
Not a set strategy per Se. I am going to use my personality and sense of humor to endear myself (or totally annoy) to the other players. Outside of that, it's just listen listen listen. I have the Arkham Asylum in front of me, and my belt of batman goodies to take all the villains escaping down. I just don't have a plan yet for how to do it.
5. What kind of player would you consider yourself? (The hero, the villain, the socialite, the competitor, well-rounded, etc...?)
I'd consider myself well-rounded, but mainly I'm more of the jokester/class clown. I'm all for having a great time, but when the time comes to it, I'll get you in the back of there's not enough room to get you in the front.
6. What are your strengths and weaknesses as a player?
Weaknesses : I can be too passive, especially when I think I'm safe. I'm not really one to do a lot of wheeling and dealing unless I feel vulnerable, and by then it's usually too late. I also don't play nice/civil if you've blatantly stabbed me in the back. Not today, Satan. Not today.
Strength : I'm... Fabulous? *hair flip*
7. What are your pet peeves in people? Are there any kind of players that just really grind your gears? Would you target them automatically or try to work past these differences?
People who play with pregame allies are the scum of my ORGS world. People who argue that knowing people and agreeing to work in advance being a hindrance are the worst (and dumbest) people around. I'm too old to care anymore, but my vision can't be improved anymore after all the eye rolling I used to do with people who were... well, f@#king dumb. : )
...Also any player who is a Trump supporter. Have not been in a game since he became a candidate, but so help me God I will get voted out of this game having told someone they are dumb f*ck incarnate if they breathe a syllable of Trump rhetoric in my direction.
In both cases, the only way to work past this is with a clear plan in mind of dumping them the second my potential success in the game calls for it.
8. (Why) do you think you have what it takes to win Big Brother: Rise & Fall 13? I don't. I'm too outgoing (loud), too direct (sassy), and too much fun (fabulous) for anyone with a sizable IQ score to want me ANYWHERE near the end.
9. Anything else you'd like to add before your journey for the victory begins?
I forgot my running shoes. Also, i hope the staff of the game will chime in from time to time. Helps keep me motivated and talkative. Hope you all enjoy the ride!
